One of the many editions of a work that has never been out of print since it was first published in 1768. Written in 1767 in Shandy Hall, Sterne only managed to complete two of the four volumes he had promised his subscribers. This edition profusely illustrated with pen & ink drawings by the Derry born artist Norah McGuinness.
