The third English edition (not the 'Second Edition' as erroneous stated on colophon) preceded by the first & second editions published by Grant Richards in 1914 & 1918 respectively. 1000 sheet sets of American shets were imported by the Egoist Press of which 168 were bound up for sale in their green cloth binding. 500 sets of sheets were on hand when the Egoist Press disposed of the book to Jonathan Cape in 1924. These were bound in an orange and black cloth (as here) with the Cape imprint to spine & publisher's devise blind stamped to lower cover. [Slocum 10].
