Housed in green cloth solander box.The sixteen colour plates are mounted onto tan art paper and set within a border, under captioned tissue guards. There are also various chapter headings in black and white. Stephens' s collection of Irish Fairy Tales includes The Story of Tuan Mac Cairill, The Boyhood of Fionn, The Birth of Bran, Oisin's Mother, The Wooing of Becfola, The Little Brawl at Allen, The Carl of the Drab Coat, The Enchanted Cave of Cesh Corran, Becuma of the White Skin, and Mongan's Frenzy. The Bookman of Christmas, 1920 describes these tales as "for the child whose parents worship Ireland, for those with adoration for her legends."
