A facsimile of second edition published in 1834. A work now largely discredited, O’Brien argued that Round Towers were of pre-Christian in origin and built by Tuath-de-Danaan, a race in Irish mythology, thought to represent the main deities of pre-Christian Gaelic Ireland.
