With Michael Collins In The Fight for Irish Independence. London: Peter Davies, 1929. First Edition. Pp, 195. Green cloth, gilt title to spine. A very good copy, without the dust jacket.
Bartholomew (Batt) O'Connor formed a close friendship with Michael Collins while detained in Frongoch prison camp in Wales. After their release he helped Collins in re-organising the IRB network and the Sinn Féin organisation. He persuaded Collins to go to London to form part of the Anglo-Irish Treaty delegation. He was elected to the Dáil in 1924 and remained a TD until his death in 1935.
