Seaghan Barlow (J.F. Barlow) began his career at the Abbey Theatre from its foundation in 1904. He held various positions including Actor, Set Designer (master carpenter) & Scenic Artist. He was a friend of W.B. Yeats, Lady Gregory & Lennox Robinson and many of those who were associated with Ireland’s National Theatre during his long tenure there.
