Overall a nice example of this children’s classic, published in the same month as the first edition. 

Grahame’s classic tale of the riverbank, originally told as bedtime stories and then written in the form of letters to the author’s son, Alistair, who died tragically under a train while an undergraduate at Oxford in 1920.

One of the most cherished works in English language, and an enduring contribution to the shared literature of young and old, featuring the exploits of Mole, Ratty and Toad.
