A foundational text on the history and topography of Connacht. It was written in the 17th century but the 1846 edition was the first time O’Flaherty’s manuscript was published. It was edited with extensive notes by the Irish scholar James Hardiman. It was published as part of the Irish Archaeological Society’s series of historical publications.
