An early modern Irish translation of a significant portion of the medieval medical text Rosa Anglica, which was likely composed around 1314.

The Irish text is primarily based on the Royal Irish Academy manuscript 23 P 20 (15th-century manuscript). The book features Irish and English on opposite pages.

The introduction includes a list of unpublished Irish medical manuscripts and herbals (pages l–lvi), and the volume concludes with a bibliography.
