The Warlock of Love. London: Lupus Music, 1969. First Edition. Pictorial paper boards in matching dust jacket. Boards scuffed, with light wear to jacket. Contents pages in nice bright condition.

The only book of poetry Bolan published during his lifetime, released when he was still the frontman of the psychedelic folk duo Tyrannosaurus Rex, well before his transformation into the glam rock superstar of T. Rex.

The poems are populated by wizards, mages, and exotic lands, echoing the spirit of Tyrannosaurus Rex’s songs.

The book’s scarcity and its status as a precursor to Bolan’s later fame have cemented its place as a desirable piece of rock ephemera.
