Quentin Blake’s Nursery Rhyme Book. London: Cape, 1983. First Edition. Small folio. Publisher’s laminated pictorial boards. Neat ownership name to front endpaper, otherwise a fine bright copy.

Signed & Dated by Quentin Blake on title page.

A selection of sixteen traditional nursery rhymes, including relatively lesser-known characters such as Gregory Griggs (who has 27 wigs), Terence McDiddler (the three-stringed fiddler), and Handy Spandy.

Entirely illustrated by Quentin Blake himself, featuring his signature lively, humorous, and slightly mischievous ink-line style.
