Louie Bennett (1870-1956), one of the founding members of the Irish Women’s Suffrage. She was particularly concerned with the needs and problems of female workers. She helped address inequalities and injustices in training and education through her work with the Irish Women’s Reform League. She was also an executive member of the Irish Women Workers Union. Bennett was also a committed pacifist.
