No publication date appears in the book, however it was officially published early in 1916, this copy must have been fresh off the press when Lily inscribed it as a Christmas present in 1915.

Lily Yeats was a sister of W. B. Yeats and founded the dun Emer (later the Cuala Press) along with her sister Elizabeth, in 1902.
