Arthur Charles Michael was a prolific British illustrator active during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, a period often considered the “Golden Age of Illustration.” He was a contemporary of more famous illustrators like Arthur Rackham and Edmund Dulac, and his work shared the same meticulous detail and romantic spirit that defined the era.
