Illustrated with three colour plates and seven black & white drawings by Arthur Rackham. In addition a previous owner  has tipped-in twelve colour illustrations from Rackham’s ‘Peter Pan.’ 

A collection of eight poems, each on a different variety of apple. In a letter to the illustrator the author Eden Phillpotts commented: ‘I am immensely pleased at the charm and originality of your most attractive drawings. The humour of them especially drew me.’
