Illustrated with full coloured frontispiece and several semi-coloured drawings throughout the text  by Eileen Soper.

Also issued in blue boards, this copy is the scarcer issue in maroon. The printing error to the front cover of the dust jacket & frontispiece shows the telescope the wrong way round. This was corrected in the third edition.
