A detailed and nicely illustrated work on the art of fly-fishing. In the preface the author notes: “My design in compiling the following pages, and embodying in them the long practical experience of my friends and myself, was chiefly to secure to the lover of Angling a share in the advantages which generally follow the adoption of any system that has been proved successful.” Henry Wade was Honorary Secretary to the Wear Valley Angling Association.
