Marie Alexandra Victoria, Princess of Edinburgh, was one of Queen Victoria’s many grandchildren. She married the Crown Prince Ferdinand of Romania & became Queen when he ascended the throne in 1914. She published books and short stories, both in Romanian and English, during her lifetime including collections of Fairy Tales and children’s books.
