Gwynedd M. Hudson studied at the Municipal School of Art, Brighton, Sussex. A British artist known for her rich, dreamy style with Art Nouveau influences, she also illustrated J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan and Wendy in 1931.

Boots The Chemists, a British pharmacy chain, occasionally published special editions of classic literature. This edition was printed by Hodder & Stoughton for Boots
