Both volumes are Inscribed by Wendy Walsh on the half title pages (dated 1983 & 1988 respectively) 

A classic work on Irish flowers, Part 1 was published in an edition of 3000 copies and Part 2 in an edition of 1500 copies.

Wendy Walsh (1915-2014) was one of Ireland’s foremost botanical artists. ‘An Irish Florilegium’ won a bronze medal for the ‘Most beautiful Book in the World’ at the Leipzig Book Fair.
