The work is divided into three parts, with separate title pages and dates each (First Part 1860, Second Part 1861, Third Part 1872).

The complete edition of Rev. Beaver H. Blacker’s history of two wealthy Church of Ireland parishes in south Dublin. Throughout much of the 19th century the area was a very wealthy enclave of Protestantism and Unionism with influential families living in the fine houses and neighbourhoods.
