Illustrated with twenty-six finely engraved plates drawn by the celebrated artists George Petrie, R.H.A. and W.H. Bartlett. The engraved map of the city (folded-in at rear), especially drawn for the 1831 edition.

Aimed at the visitor to the city, the stated objective of Dublin Delineated was to celebrate the city as it was in the 1830s, highlighting important buildings and monuments and offering a tour of the most interesting places which could be seen “in the course of a few hours”.
