With text illustrations and folded map at rear. Cream pictorial cloth boards, lacks dust jacket. A very good copy.

A classic account of Ireland’s second largest lake and it’s surrounding area, the first edition was published in 1867. This printing is illustrated with the original woodcuts from that edition.

William Wilde, antiquarian and father of Oscar Wilde lived for much of the year in a holiday home ‘Moytura House’ near the village of Cong on the Galway/Mayo border.
