Constance Sitwell was a British poet and critic who was part of the prominent literary Sitwell family in the early 20th century.

A collection compiled with the assistance of AE (George Russell) and W.B. Yeats. In his preface Robinson comments “I have collected here what seems to me to be some of our most beautiful Irish poems, I have chosen many poems which were originally written in Gaelic and which have been translated into beautiful English.”

Authors include: James Joyce, W.B. Yeats, Francis Ledwidge, Oscar Wilde and numerous others.
