Early novel by Robinson. The original manuscript was burned whilst at the publisher’s office during the Easter Rising, April 1916.
Ex libris Cathal O ‘Shannon, Irish politician, trade unionist and journalist, with his signature to front endpaper. On Easter Sunday 1916, he mobilised with a hundred Volunteers at Coalisland, County Tyrone; they dispersed when there were no orders from Dublin.
