Breath and other Shorts. London: Faber & Faber, 1971. First English Edition. Pp, 50. Green cloth boards in publisher’s light blue & green dust jacket. A fine bright copy.

A collection gathering five of Samuel Beckett’s most compressed and experimental theatrical works, it captures Beckett at his most minimalist, pushing the boundaries of what constitutes drama.

The hardback edition is surprisingly scarce probably explained by a small print-run, given the simultaneous wrapper issue.
