Crystal and Fox. A Play in Six Episodes. London: Faber & Faber, 1970. First Edition. Pp, 75. Black cloth boards, title lettered in gilt along spine, in pictorial dust (featuring Cyril Cusack on stage) jacket printed in black & white. A fine bright copy.

Signed by Brian Friel on the title page.

The play, first performed in Dublin in 1968, revolves round an Irish travelling show and it contains all the glitter, humour and pathos that are traditionally part of such a world.

A scarce and collectible item, as Signed first editions of Friel’s earlier plays appear infrequently on the market.
