The 1968 Cuchulainn’s Boyhood Deeds was part of the preparatory work for the much larger, 1,750-copy edition of Kinsella’s complete Táin translation . Louis le Brocquy’s ink drawings, used in this small edition, were a key element in the design and visual identity of the later, more famous book.
