Regarded as Brown’s Magnum Opus, ‘Down all the Days’ is an autobiographical novel & a playful expansion of ‘My Left Foot’ (published in 1954). It focuses on the childhood and coming of age of a young man with cerebral palsy. He acts as a detached observer of life in the slums of Dublin, during the 1940s and 50s. Inscribed copies of Brown’s books are rare in commerce.
