Stiff wrappers. All in very good condition. A complete run of this uncommon annual publication, Seamus Heaney was the editor of the first three issues along with Cyril Farrell, Edmund Haughey, Gerard McCreesh &Denis Haughey. The calibre of contribution throughout the life of the publicaiton is quite outstanding. Heaney contributes the poem “Birdwatcher” in issue I, the poem “Yan”‘ in issue II, the verse-play Munro in issue III, and two poems , “A Constable Calls” and “Act of Union” in issue VII. There are also contributions from many contemporary literary figures including Brian Friel, Michael Longley, Derek Mahon, Eugene McCabe, Mary Lavin, etc. The annual’s title changed to Aquarius on the 4th issue, 1971.
