Séamus Ó Súilleabháin (fl. 1849) was an Irish scribe, writer and translator. He was stridently Protestant, and said that the Catholic faith was “spiritual tyranny which they, the said unhallowed and unsantified Philistines, have exercised in England, Ireland and Scotland.”
