The bulk of this 1966 issue commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Easter Rising in 1916. It containing over thirty articles on people & events of the period, illustrated with many photographs.

From its inception in 1930, The Capuchin Annual featured a wealth of subjects on Irish culture, treating, Art, Religion, Topography, Travel, Biography, Irish Saints, etc. Many authors and poets appeared in print here for the first time & was by far the most widely distributed outlet for Irish literature and art. The finial issue appeared in 1977.
