Additionally with an envelope tipped-in to front pastedown with writing in the author’s hand explaining that the contents within is an exact copy in the original English of the letter on page 179 of this novel.

A tale narrated by the Scrivener ‘Martyn Fallon’. It deals with the Geraldine family (Lords of Kildare) in Ireland and their fall from power under Henry VIII with a rebellion lead by the ‘Silken Thomas’ otherwise known as Lord Thomas Geraldine.
