Ulysses was first published on the 2nd February, 1922 (James Joyce’s 40th birthday). In association with the Little Oak Press, Ulysses Rare Books are pleased to offer this specially bound centenary edition to commemorate this literary milestone. 

First published in Paris by Shakespeare & Co., in 1922, Joyce’s masterpiece has been the subject of scholarly debate, textual revisions, numerous editions & many translations in the intervening 100 years. The first Dublin edition not making its appearance until 1997 (Ulysses: A Reader’s Edition – Lilliput Press).

This privately published edition is our homage to the great book & to its author, James Joyce, who’s works in their various iterations have been a sustaining part of our business for last 35 years.
