Irish poet and folklorist William Larminie was born in Co. Mayo in 1849. First published in 1893, this volume is a collection of 18 folktales collected from counties Mayo (Achill Island), Galway (Renvyle) & Donegal (Malinmore, Glencolumkille), recording the names of those who narrated the tales.
