Tanya Moiseiwitch was a pioneering figure in 20th century theatre design and was the first full-time designer at the Abbey from 1935 to 1939. Seaghan Barlow (J.F. Barlow) began his career at the Abbey Theatre from its foundation in 1904. He held various positions including Set Designer & master carpenter during his long career.
