The House at Pooh Corner. With Decorations by Ernest H. Shepard. London: Methuen & Co. Ltd. 1928. First Edition. Publisher's Original pink cloth, spine lettered in gilt with vignette of Christopher Robin and Eeyore to centre of upper cover within single gilt rule border, illustrated endpapers, top edge gilt. In original pictorial dust jacket. Light off-setting to front free endpaper, otherwise a fine bright copy of this classic children's book.

Milne's final Pooh book and the one where he introduced a new character "Tigger" who would become one of the author's most popular creations.

The House at Pooh Corner was received by critics with a delight tinged by sadness. "The Times Literary Supplement congratulated Milne on avoiding 'the temptation to repeat his successful formula mechanically', though it was 'sad to see the stories end'" (Thwaite p. 336).
